High Performance Sucker Rod Pump Chorme Barrel

Description of Sucker Rod Pump Barrel

The barrel is a part of sucker rod pump which is connected to sucker rod after being assemblied on the surface then it is pulled down to the well bottom through the tubing.

Working Principle

In the upper stroke, the plunger is on the bottom of the pump. Because of the hydraulic pressure from the upper tubing, both up and traveling valves will close. When the plunger go up, the stationary valve open and oil will go through the pump, since the bottom pressure is higher than the upper pressure, then the fluid will be forced to go through the stationary valve and flow into the tubing.

In the down stroke,the traveling valve open and the presure drive the oil go into the plunger from the side holeof the extractor, then go into the tubing.

The subsurface sucker rod pump is consist of tubing coupling, extension nipple, barrel coupling, barrel, traveling valve, plunger, extractor, stationary valve.
